For AVS President Leslie Shniffer, you could say craftsmanship is "ingrained". It's a sensibility acquired from his father, a master craftsman whose own business, A. Shniffer Interiors Ltd., established in 1950, was a trusted supplier of wood fixtures throughout North America for over forty years.

Leslie Shniffer continues to uphold the exacting standards instilled in him by his father, through his own business, AVS Custom Woodworking Inc. He is a graduate of York University with an Honors B.A. in Fine Arts, followed by post graduate work at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto. Leslie's appreciation of the design process and his willingness to explore alternative approaches makes him unique among his peers. His continual dedication to learning through research and travel, along with his genuine enthusiasm for what he does, has helped him build a business that is as dependable, diverse and solid as the products that his company manufactures.
